TITLE : TALK AND GROW RICH: HOW TO CREATE WEALTH WITHOUT CAPITAL.

The book has passed the test of time and I don't think there is anything I want to add or change. However, I have now had the advantage of a tremendous amount of feedback from many people who have bought and read the book. Having taken into account all this feedback from many readers over a long period of time, along with my own thoughts and meditations, I do think I have a message for you-it is the message of actually applying the principles of success.

Over the years I have received many letters from people in all sorts of situations and from all walks of life. Most people write in and thank me for the book, some include ways in which the book helped them, others want to know what else I have written and many request information about the Apprentice Millionaires' Club.

The other day I received a long letter from an elderly gentleman who was full of praise for the book. However, he went on to say that he'd read hundreds of books and he wondered when it was 'all going to happen' for him. I replied to this gentleman, and I'll tell you what I told him. Reading books on how to succeed is only the first step in the right direction. More important is that you actually apply the principles contained in these books to your situation. This takes time and effort and discipline.

I fell into the trap myself. A long time before my first success I used to lecture on the Principles of Success. My seminars revolved around one of the most important aspects of achieving success, which is the use of visualization. I remember going on and on with tremendous enthusiasm about visualizing the future as it is desired and seeing yourself as a success. I'm sure I convinced my audience, at least some of them. But I was not visualizing myself and, indeed, was having a job to make ends meet. It was only when I did take time out to visualize and meditate and really do the things with my mind that make the difference that things really started to happen for me.

I can tell you here and now it takes a great deal of courage to take the time to meditate and visualize when there are so many pressing things in one's life. I can also tell you, from first hand experience, that nothing great will ever happen to you until you gather the necessary courage and actually take time out to apply the principles of success and start doing the things with your mind that will actually make the difference.

One has to be constantly reminded actually to practice the principles of success. With this in mind, we set up the Apprentice Millionaires' Club.
