Preface
I am pleased to include at the close of most chapters a section called Fast Forward to the Real World. There you will find selected articles from Marketing Tools magazine, a publication by American Demographics, Inc., a Dow Jones Company. In each article, leading practitioners of and thinkers about marketing apply the concepts contained in the preceding chapter to the actual world of professional marketing. Their experience and practical advice will prove useful to students, teachers, and working marketers alike.
